Stretching & Mobilisation

The Role of Stretching

Stretching plays an important role in maintaining and improving both flexibility and mobility within the horse's muscles and joints. By stretching the horse's muscles they are lengthened, increasing blood flow,, improving circulation, whilst also promoting better posture.

I will incorporate stretches during any massage treatment and I am happy to provide you with some simply stretches to perform between treatments. *Stretches should be performed when the muscles are warm. Muscles, tendons & ligaments risk damage if stretched when cold.
